On Septemvber 24, an extraordinary session at the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan took place which was a camera sitting according to the RA Law on the RA NA Rules of Procedure.

The issue of nominating candidates to the National Assembly for the election of the President and Members of Central Electoral Commission was on the agenda of the session.

The Committee decided to nominate Tigran Tolik Mukuchyan’s candidacy for the position of the President of the Central Electoral Commission and Laura Haykaz Galstyan, Armen Volodya Smbatyan, Seyran Nikolay Shahsuvaryan, Nune Surik Hovhannisyan, Georgi Laert Martirosyan and Silva Suren Markosyan for the positions of Members of the Central Electoral Commission.
